In 2012 he released his first book „Asleep at the Chateau“ published by Damiani, with a preface by Bret Easton Ellis, paying homage to the legendary Hollywood-Hotel Chateau Marmont. Here, Weismann portrays a range of celebrities asleep – among them Patti Smith, Orlando Bloom, Jürgen Teller, Eva Longoria, Usher or Justin Theroux.
His work won prestigious prizes all over the world including Gold in the category “Fashion” of the annual SPD in New York (2014), a lion in Cannes (2014), D&AD/London (2014), Lead Awards/ Hamburg, Vienna Fashion Award, Prix de la photographie /Hyères, CCA/ Vienna.
